A real miracle or the doing of extraordinary people?
This story appeared in Daniel Gordis' blog today. It is an incredibly moving tale of Hanukkah miracles and Jewish connections, on this anniversary of Operation Cast Lead in Gaza, which began last Hanukkah (and Cast Lead is a name whose origin is tied to the dreidel, which is produced out of cast lead - while American kids sing of a dreidel made out of clay, Israeli youngsters sing of cast lead.)
