Senator Blumenthal Town Meeting, Yom Hashoah
In This Moment
Click below to watch last night's Town Hall with TBE member and U.S Senator Richard Blumenthal, co-hosted by TBE and Union Baptist Church, showcasing our Black-Jewish dialogue initiative. Many thanks to all who co-sponsored, arranged and participated in this event, and most of all to Senator Blumenthal, who always makes time to keep us informed. It was good to see some optimism from him in a number of areas, ranging from Covid to climate to combating hate. The senator is a sponsor of the No Hate Act, which is soon coming up for debate.
Yom Hashoah begins at sunset. Join us at 7 tonight as our Men's Club sponsors our remote yellow candle lighting. If you have a yellow candle, please bring it to your screen so we can light them together. The Zoom link was sent out by our office.
Meanwhile, click below for the live broadcast of the Opening Ceremony for Yom Hashoah at Yad Vashem in Jerusalem, at 1 PM today.
