Jewish Laws of Warfare

Here is an example of a Jewish approach to warfare.  The question at the time was the Iraq War, and much less was known then than we know now.  Still, the sources and arguments are relevant today.  Judaism always calls on us to search for peace at almost all costs.  Almost.
